Tomás Almeida joined as Research Fellow in Aveiro
Tomás Almeida joined the CICECO team in September 2018. He obtained his MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2018.
His MSc dissertation was entitled “Silk fibroin-based polymeric membranes for fuel cells” in which he explored the properties of the silk fibroin protein aiming for solid polymer electrolyte-related areas and gained experience in the physical and chemical characterization of polymeric materials.
He presented 1 poster in an international conference, which was awarded with the prize for runner-up in the best poster competition.
